Where to Go for Grub & Suds During the Big Game

Our Eagles aren’t in the Super Bowl, but plenty of people will still celebrate the sport (and cheer on former Eagles coach Andy Reid) by going out for the Big Game or having parties at home. Here’s a list of local spots offering food (in-house or takeout) and drink specials, plenty of screens and lots of fun on Sunday, February 2.

Xfinity Live – Happening List Winner for Best Sports Bar

Xfinity Live hosts six individual restaurants with an open, central meeting place with bars, seating and view of the entire complex. Grab your crew and head over to watch San Fran take on KC on the 32-foot LED TV. There will be plenty of cold beer and game day snacks. Seating is available first come, first serve. Chickie’s & Pete’s – Happening List Finalist for Best Sports Bar

The South Philly Chickie & Pete’s was named a Finalist in the 2019 Happening List, but everyone knows that crabfries are a Game Day favorite at every location. In honor of the Game, Chickie’s & Pete’s is offering a special all-you-can eat menu featuring crabfries, chicken cutlets, wings, nachos, salads, cheesesteaks, snow crab legs, and more! Price varies by location. (It’s $44.99 in South Philly.) Sunday drink specials on Bud Light, Budweiser and Shock Top will also be available.

Get your smoked wings, roast pork etc! The bar will be offering $14 beer buckets, and $5 City Wides! Try their famous smoked wings – or order them ahead for take-out for your own party at home. Seven kinds to pick from including mild, hot, Old Bay, hot & honey, garlic Parmesan, BBQ or signature smoked.

The party starts at 6 p.m. and runs through the end of the game. Get there early for the best seats in the house!

During the game, they’ll offer $3 Workhorse Brewing Company Helles cans or $4 Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company draughts. And don’t forget to order some of their award-winning sings!

Craft Hall is one of Philadelphia’s largest restaurant and bars with 35,000 square feet for over 500 people. Craft Hall is the only place in Philadelphia to cater to families during the game. While grown-ups watch the HD flatscreens above the main and lower level bars, and giant projection wall, the kiddos can play the day away in the indoor playground keeping them occupied with video games, skee-ball, climbing equipment, porch swings and more.

In honor of the Big Game, they’ll offer $10 pitchers of Mainstay beer and Kansas City inspired food features.
